Today we filmed the last scenes need for our trailer and filmed more than we expected as we also filmed scenes we had already done but using different camera angles. We did this because we are going to repeat some scenes throughout our trailer, especially the possessed scenes, and thought that using different angles wouldn't make the trailer look unprofessional and boring to our audience. We re-filmed a scene where Grace, who plays the wife/possessed women, falls to floor as we originally filmed it as a medium shot but it didn't look as effective when she fell to the ground, and so today we filmed it as a low angle shot and found this more effective. We also re-filmed the normality scene of grace and Mike eating because we had a problem with this scene when uploading onto the computer. We also used a high - angle shot of this aswell as a close up and long shot, this way we have a variety of shots to choose from when editing our footage. We have now finished all our filming and will now spend time editing.

Filming so far
On Monday the 15th we filmed most of the other scenes we needed to capture. This included most of the scenes we are using to show the normality in their life as husband and wife: grace cooking tea and then them eating tea with one another. Also we got the wife sitting in the corner rocking. Here are some images we got of the actor/actress in their 'day to day' life;
Here is Grace cooking
This is a shot of Grace and Mike eating the meal Grace cooked for them.
We need to finish of our filming and should get it all done and completed within the next few days giving us enough time to edit and complete our trailer.

pictures of the group filming..
We thought that it would be a good idea to take pictures of the location we chose to film our teaser trailer.
This is Grace and in our project she plays the wife who is possessed and also does the sound effect of the baby.
This is a picture of Mike and Grace getting ready to film the cooking scene.
This is a shot of Grace cooking a meal for her husband and herself.
This is another shot of Grace that we took of her waiting for her husband to come home from work.
This is a shot of Grace and Mike rehearsing their lines for the scene of them both eating tea.
This is a picture of Louis setting up the camera for the scene of the couple eating tea. Here he is thinking about the camera angle and lighting.
Here is a picture of Leanne, Jess and Louis filming and Discussing the camera angle for the scene.
Here is Mike dressed in an outfit we chose. We chose a suit as we thought that this would show to an audience he is a business man.
This is Louis filming and using a long shot.
We decided to take shots of our actress and actor acting out scenes. Here is a shot of Mike getting ready for work.
Here is a shot of Grace and Mike acting out a scene.
As Grace also plays the possessed girl aswell as the wife we took pictures of her whilst acting possessed.
Here is Grace acting out a scene and Jessica and Leanne filming.
Here is another shot of Grace acting and Leanne filming using a long shot.
this is a picture of Leanne filming but using a low angle shot. The use of this shot connotates to the audience that the possessed girl is taking over.
Here is a shot we took of Grace acting out a possessed scene. We took this as we think it shows a great image of the way she is dressed, facial expressions and the blood.

Location
For our location we believe we have the ideal location for out horror genre. The location being mikes house, we believe that this is the best place in which we can have it as its free and also is easy for all of us in our group to access. Also being mikes house there is no problems on time or anything as we can use it whenever. Here are some shots of our location;

Filming.
As a group we each had our individual roles whilst filming which all meant we all played a part in order for our teaser trailer to be successful. We all met up at the location we are using for our trailer and discussed what we will do and who will do what role.
When we next meet up to film we intend to film all the footage which involves 'day to day life' which Mike is involved alot in and also re-film some possessed scenes to make them look better which involves different lighting and angles. We will also be taking location shots and casting shots. We have also decided it would be a useful idea if we take pictures of us filming and then upload them onto blogger.

Feedback
You have added very little to your blog since last week - you cannot afford to throw marks away. You still need to act on my feedback on research and there is a lot missing in the planning section:
- synopsis of the film and synopsis of the trailer
- storyboard - needs to be uploaded
- props list
- costume ideas
- schedule
- group roles for each shoot
- ideas for music/sound
- risk assessment form

Filming done so far
As a group so far we have done a few shots form our teaser trailer also experimenting on a few shots, we were not able to do the majority of our filming as we had not got the necessary props for that particular scene, so we will finish the rest of the filming off in the next time we get together. But we have got a few good idea's and have even more idea's of shots to film which we will pursue on our next filming time.

Feedback
You have adjusted some of your posts from the last feedback but not all - make sure you do!
You still have a bit of Research to complete:
- Post from Louis on teaser trailers needs more info - what is the difference in timing? when are the two types of trailers released and what different roles/functions do they have? What implications does this have for your product?
- Post on titles still needs development
- Post on branding - a bit thin. You need to explain what branding is and why it is important. You need more elements than just font and colour. This may be easier if you also use the trailer and a few different posters, the DVD cover etc. You should be able to sum up what creates the brand image here and what that image is. You also need to talk about what you will need to bear in mind for your products.
- More research needed into the horror genre, especially the supernatural sub-genre you are focusing on - possibly add a few trailers/ scenes and posters and list the key genre features, looking at, for e.g., representation, plots, media language, ideologies etc... look back at sub-headings earlier in yellow book
- Moodboard - look at this and add comment on what image/ features you want to replicate...
- Research into institution?
- Research into ancillary tasks - find a few examples of each and list the key conventions of each?

The Equipment And Technologies We Are Going To Use
To create our teaser trailer there are a number of things we are going to use to achieve the type of genre we want to do. Firstly, we are obviously going to be using a video camera. To edit all our footage and to get all the effects needed we are going to use 'final cut express' There are a number of effects we will be using during the making and editing of our teaser trailer, we will be using effects such as split screen, white noise and also fade in and fade outs, depending on how it makes it look as we are making sure its looks professional. We will be using colour grading to our advantage as it will help us get across the scenes which are meant to look super natural and make certain things stand out, such as the actors eyes. When we are editing as we are using final cut express this will allow us to make the cutting in between each shot fast and this will help us create suspense and also help us to achieve the genre we are wanting to.

Feedback
You still need to act on the last feedback post and have not really added much since the last feedback, given the urgency of your deadlines!
You need to expand the post outlining the differences between a teaser and a standard theatrical trailer - this post is simply not strong enough. Consider what its function is, how it develops its narrative etc and how this is different to the standard longer trailer... and what the two types of trailers have in common and what this means for your product. You also need a general post on the horror genre - what types of horror you get and what sub-genre your product will belong to and the key conventions linked to it - settings, narratives, representations (characters) and ideologies, props, costume, sound, lighting etc..... with some examples of typical films in this genre. Without, these two posts being expanded, your trailer analysis is a bit detached. Each trailer analysis needs to state what its focus is- looking at what a horror teaser can be like??? You also need to be more specific at the end about what ideas you particularly are inspired by in your example.
You have defined your audience but could justify your GRASS choices a little more? Could also look at uses and Gratifications to explore why people like this type of horror film - think about ideas about fear and resolution?
Institution - you have proved your choice has box office form but also need to investigate the type of studio/ production co and distributor who might produce this film, using real examples. You also need to consider when teaser trailers would be released in relation to the main film and possibly at what time of year. You can consider what other elements would make up the marketing campaign for this type of film and where you would release the teaser trailer.... You would need to explain the reasons for these decisions...
Don't forget to research your two ancillary tasks - what do posters and film magazine covers do and what are their main conventions. Also, you need some research into branding.
Please check your grammar and spellings, too - in places these detract from what you are saying.
